"Rachel taught both of my daughters to swim. Years ago, my oldest daughter was fearless at age 2 and made us all very nervous around water. Rachel taught her at that age, and in a short time to float, to look for the edge, and to get out safely. Teaching her to make good choices, Rachel helped keep her safe and learn to swim. Years later my youngest daughter, age 5, was fairly comfortable in the pool, but did not know any strokes yet and was not confident floating. But after a week, Rachel taught her the foundations of freestyle and backstroke, and floating. She needs continued practice to hone her skills, but Rachel gave her the tools and I am so grateful. My girls love Ms. Rachel and are now much more cautious and safe around water. I recommend her to anyone because of her calm confidence in her teaching. "My son who was six years old had a huge fear of swimming. He had taken swim lessons every summer since he was two and still cried hysterically when putting his head under water. He would hang onto the side of the pool and wasn't able to participate with his friends who were playing and swimming around. We found Rachel through a friend and she was absolutely amazing. Not only was she compassionate, patient and understanding, but she got him swimming confidently in less than two weeks. He has had the best summer and swims all over the pool, dives under water in the deep end and made so many fun memories with his friends. She also did a fantastic job teaching my two year old daughter to swim during her first experience with swim lessons. She gets right in the pool and does her three hair-dos and rocket kicks. I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough, she is a top notch instructor and gave my children so much encouragement while also being firm with them.
